		<title>How to Descale your Expobar</title>
		<link>http://expobarownersgroup.com/maintenance/how-to-descale-your-expobar.html</link>
		<description>

Descaling your espresso machine is a necessary thing. The exact procedure was hard to find, I ended up finding lots of information about it, none directly related to the machine I had. This guide is what i filtered out of the wealth of online info.

This project is in the moderate to advanced category of espresso machine maintenance. Which is probably why it is often such a feared procedure. If you are not fairly comfortable digging around inside your machine, unplugging and plugging in wires, please find someone who is. Basic mechanical skill is required; please get some help if you are unsure. I am not responsible if you damage your machine and void its warranty.

		<title>Does your Expobar run hot? - Thermosyphon Restrictor</title>
		<link>http://expobarownersgroup.com/modifications/does-your-expobar-run-hot-thermosyphon-restrictor.html</link>
		<description>
 My obsession with temperature all started after I installed Eric’s T.C.
Adaptor. I was flushing 8 ounces of water to get to the top end of brew
able temps. In between shots I still needed to flush 6 ounces at least
to keep everything cool enough to brew nice tasting shots. I was using
lot of water, almost a gallon per day. I even have an external tank but
that is another story.

Not only can I see the brew temperature with Eric’s T.C. adaptor,
I can also see what temperature the group was at idle, 220º.

i researched and found about the thermosyphon restrictor that can be
inserted in the thermosyphon to make the group cooler.

		<title>Monitoring Brew Temp - Eric's E61 Thermocouple Adaptor</title>
		<link>http://expobarownersgroup.com/modifications/monitoring-brew-temp-erics-e61-thermocouple-adaptor.html</link>
		<description>
Do you know the temperature of the water you are
brewing with? I installed a nifty invention from the
mind of Eric Svendson. Eric&amp;#39;s Thermocouple T.C. Adaptor , allows you to replace the M6 bolt in your group with a
thermocouple. You can now measure the temp of the water during your HX
flush/water dance and during your brew. The temperature is measured inches above the screen, inside the brew water path.

This guide will instruct you on how to measure the temperature of your
brew water in your E61 espresso machine.
